Consolidating Multiple Table Rate Carriers

Combine table rate carriers to optimize ShipperHQ dashboard slots

Overview

Learn how to consolidate multiple table rate carriers into a single carrier. This process is useful when you want to combine table rate carriers and free up an additional carrier slot in your ShipperHQ dashboard. In our example, we'll move the "Expedited Shipping" table into the "Standard Shipping" table. 😊

Table of Contents

Step 1

  • Navigate to the table rate carrier being relocated, like "Expedited Shipping."
  • Select "Export CSV." You should now have a CSV file of the table rates downloaded to your computer.

Step 2

  • Go to the table rate carrier that's absorbing the new rates, such as "Standard Shipping."
  • Choose "Import CSV" and then select "Import and Append."
  • From the file selection modal, pick the recently downloaded CSV file for "Expedited Shipping."

Once the CSV has been imported, you're all set. You've officially merged the two tables. 🎉

💡 Note: If you have the Delivery Date & Time Advanced Feature enabled, you'll need to update your "# of delivery days" after consolidating the tables. Navigate to the methods tab and update each method's delivery speed.

At this point, you can safely remove your "Expedited Shipping" carrier and rename your "Standard Shipping" carrier to just "Shipping."
