Configuring DHL Express
VAT-inclusive or -exclusive pricing
A DHL Express carrier can return prices including VAT. New carriers do not include VAT by default. Enable this option via the checkbox on the Advanced tab. Prices only cover shipping, not the order's value.
Import Duties/Taxes Apply Setting
In Account Settings on your DHL Express Carrier, check the "Import Duties/Taxes Apply to My Products" box. This ensures services supporting dutiable products are returned, important for eCommerce shipping.
Calculating Duties & Taxes
The ShipperHQ Duties & Taxes feature, used with DHL Express, calculates and displays shipping costs with applicable duties & taxes.
Troubleshooting
Your carrier may be installed and configured but not yet validated. Successful validation requires accurate account information. Without it, you cannot validate the carrier and receive live rates.
