Show/Hide Dimensional Info on Magento Order Comments

Display or hide shipping package details in Magento order comments to streamline order management

Overview

Learn how to configure package details to appear in the comments section of the Magento Order Details page. Dimensional packing must be enabled to adjust these settings. 😊

Steps

  • Navigate to the Advanced Features section in ShipperHQ and click on "Dimensional Packing."
  • Click "Advanced" and set "Show Package Information in Order Comments" to No.

  • Click Apply to save this setting.
  • Synchronize Magento with ShipperHQ.

Check Order Details Page in Magento

  • From the Magento Admin Panel, navigate to one of your orders in Sales > Orders.
  • Open any order processed after the setting was changed to Yes. You should see package information in the comments section at the bottom.
