Dimensional Packing: Ignore Dimensions of a Box

Maximize box capacity by prioritizing weight and quantity over dimensions

Table of Contents

Overview

Dimensional packing can be adjusted to account for very small, pliable products like small packs of gloves. By ignoring the box dimensions, packing focuses on the weight and quantity of the products inside. Keep in mind, this method ignores product dimensions during packing and will not send any dimensions to the carrier. 😊

Box Configuration

To ignore box dimensions, set the length, width, and height to zero. This allows products to fit into the box without accounting for dimensions. To ensure only a limited number of products fit, apply maximum quantity and/or maximum weight constraints.

To ensure that a finite quantity of products can fit into the box the maximum quantity and/or maximum weight should be applied.
