Using Discounted prices & Tax-inclusive Prices.

Configure filters for discounted and tax-inclusive prices in Magento shipping settings

Table of Contents

Overview

😊 ShipperHQ filters can use discounted or tax-inclusive prices for products. For example, if an item's original price is $50 but a discount reduces it to $25, ShipperHQ can filter based on either price. You can adjust this setting with a simple checkbox in the carrier's advanced tab. This functionality is currently exclusive to Magento, allowing ShipperHQ to consider prices including or excluding tax.

Please note, Shopify and Shopify Plus accounts cannot utilize discounted pricing in ShipperHQ.

Use Discounted Prices

💡 This option lets the system evaluate product prices after applying a discount code. For instance, if an item costs $20 and a discount reduces it to $15, enabling this feature will allow the system to filter using the discounted $15 price and apply rules accordingly.

To enable, go to Carriers > [desired carrier] > Advanced > "Use Discounted Prices".

Use Tax-Inclusive Prices

✅ This feature is only supported on Magento. Magento sends the product price to ShipperHQ with tax included and excluded. By checking this box, you can filter based on either price.

Enable this feature under Carriers > [desired carrier] > Advanced > "Use Tax Inclusive Prices".

⚠️ Shopify does not currently support this functionality.

If you're using BigCommerce, ShipperHQ receives the item's value configured under the "Default Price" field in BigCommerce. This may include or exclude tax based on your configuration. Since BigCommerce doesn't separately provide the taxed amount, we're unable to choose which values to process. Learn more about BigCommerce tax settings.
