Overview
Master and Child accounts are a great solution for businesses with multiple websites having different origins but wanting consistent shipping rules, methods, and packing dimensions. This feature lets you manage all functionalities from one account while controlling individual website origins.
Requirements
Master and Child accounts are available on Enterprise ShipperHQ plans. This feature can only be enabled by a ShipperHQ team member. Contact us at support@shipperhq.com and let us know which account you'd like to become the 'master'. 😊
Managing Master/Child Accounts
Log into your Master account. Hover over My Account (top right) and select My Profile. Under the Preferences panel, you'll see all child accounts associated with this master account.
To manage a child account:
- Log into the child account
- Navigate to the Website tab in the left-hand navigation
- Click on your website to edit
In the Basic panel, select and manage the default Origin for this site.
If you need to map one of your child accounts to the parent account:
- Go to My Account > My Profile
- Under the Preferences section, enter the email address associated with the master account in Master Account Email Address
- Click Save
Once saved, most functionalities for this account will be removed, and each child account will reflect the configuration of the master account. 💡
