Overview
When you install ShipperHQ from the BigCommerce App Store, your shipping rates and options won't change immediately. First, you'll need to set up ShipperHQ according to your needs. If you've installed ShipperHQ but haven't configured it yet, start with our getting started guide. Once you're ready, follow the steps below. 😊

Store Setup Panel in BigCommerce
Steps - Enabling ShipperHQ
Step 1: Select Shipping from BigCommerce "Store Setup"
Click "Shipping" from the BigCommerce Dashboard. This option is under the "Store Setup" panel.
Step 2: Use "Preview Advanced Shipping" to Test ShipperHQ
Enable "Preview Advanced Shipping" to preview shipping rates and quotes generated by ShipperHQ at the cart/checkout. This feature is available for users logged into the control panel and allows you to confirm your settings before making them public. Check the "Preview Advanced Shipping" box in the Advanced Shipping Rules section of your shipping page in BigCommerce. Ensure the "Default" toggle is on to see this option.

🔍 Your shoppers will NOT be impacted by this preview and will continue to see the "Default Shipping Rates" configured. Review the quotes in the cart/checkout and proceed once you're satisfied.
Step 3: Enable Advanced Shipping Rules (turn ShipperHQ Live)
At the top of the "Checkout Shipping Options" section, you'll find a toggle switch to choose "Default" (BigCommerce-powered shipping quotes) or "Advanced" (quotes from ShipperHQ). Flipping this switch activates ShipperHQ on your site with a checkmark next to "Advanced Shipping Rules."

Important Note
Switching to ShipperHQ won't erase your BigCommerce default shipping rules. You can alternate between "Default" and "Advanced" modes as needed. Flip back to "Advanced" when you're ready to use ShipperHQ again. 🔄
Trouble launching the app?
If you're having trouble, it might be due to blocked third-party cookies. Check this document for help. Ensure you're logged in as the BigCommerce Store Owner. Only the Store Owner can install ShipperHQ and grant access using Multi-User App Permissions for others.
