R+L Carriers LTL Freight

Set up and validate R+L Carriers account for accurate live shipping rates in ShipperHQ

Overview

This document will guide you on obtaining your R+L Carriers credentials needed for ShipperHQ to access live rates associated with your R+L Account, and how to connect those credentials to ShipperHQ.

Requirements

Here are the credentials required to validate your account with ShipperHQ for real-time rating. If you already have an account, contact your sales representative to obtain the following:

  • A registered account with R&L
  • Your Api Key

Registering for Credentials

Speak to a R+L Carriers representative to register for credentials. You can either request a call from a representative or call 1-800-543-5589.

Adding R+L Carriers requires the LTL Freight advanced feature to be enabled. If this feature isn't enabled, you will be prompted to do so during installation.

Adding R+L Carriers

Once you have your credentials ready, follow these steps to set up R+L Carriers in ShipperHQ.

  1. Log into your ShipperHQ account and navigate to the Advanced Features link on the left navigation menu.

  2. Click to enable the LTL Advanced Feature.

  3. Once LTL is enabled, navigate to the Carriers link on the left navigation menu.

  4. Click + New to add a new carrier.

  5. Choose the Live Rate Carrier option.

  6. Use the Search Carriers option to find R+L Carriers or scroll down the list of available carriers.

  7. Click R+L Carriers.
  8. Click to continue in connecting your carrier account to ShipperHQ.

Steps to Validate This Carrier

  1. Enter the following credentials provided by R+L Carriers:

    • Your Api Key

  2. Once you enter these details, click the Validate button to complete the validation process.

    💡 If validation fails, please notify ShipperHQ Support for further assistance, or verify your entries and try again.

  3. Click the Configure This Carrier button if the validation process is successful.
  4. Edit any settings for this carrier and then click Save to complete the setup.
  5. Your R+L Carriers account is now enabled and ready to use for quoting shipping rates.
