Requirements
Make sure you have these in place:
- A UPS carrier is installed and validated
- The Delivery Date & Time Advanced Feature is enabled
- The option to "Show Time in Transit" or "Show Delivery Date" is enabled on the UPS carrier under the Calendar panel
- Configured blackout days/dates for both origin and carrier
- A shipping group for your perishable goods is created (e.g., PERISHABLE)
Steps
- Navigate to Shipping Groups and edit your Perishable group.
- In the Advanced panel, set the Max Transit Time to 1 day.
- Save the Shipping Group.
Ensure appropriate products are assigned to your PERISHABLE shipping group so that ShipperHQ knows when to apply the Max Transit Time.
Conclusion
With these settings, ground shipping will be displayed only if perishables can be delivered to the destination within 1 day. You can adjust the rates provided by UPS using a shipping rule.
