In this scenario, we have a box that can hold a maximum weight of 35 lbs. If the items in the cart exceed 35 lbs, they will be split into multiple boxes. This approach applies to all products on the website. 😊
Solution 1
To apply this to all products, set the maximum package weight on the FedEx carrier to 35 lbs. By default, it is set to 150 lbs. If you want more packing rules or boxes in the future, consider Solution 2.
Solution 2
- Ensure Dimensional Packing is enabled under Advanced Features
- Navigate to Boxes and add a new box
- Add the box as below, and within the Basic tab, set the maximum weight for the box
- Test
