Overview
Once you've set up your groups, origins, or packing rules in ShipperHQ, the next step is to assign them to products. This guide explains how to synchronize ShipperHQ with Magento 1 and 2. If you're wondering what needs synchronizing, learn more here. 😊
Magento 1
In Magento 1, navigate to Catalog->ShipperHQ->Synchronize ShipperHQ. By selecting this, you'll be able to view all relevant data from ShipperHQ and sync it with Magento.
Magento 2
In Magento 2, you can find the Synchronize menu under Stores->Synchronize with ShipperHQ.
Synchronize Page
On the synchronization page for both Magento 1 and Magento 2, you can see a list of attribute values that differ between the ShipperHQ dashboard and your store.
- "Reload Synchronize Data" will refresh the page to check for new differences between the store and the dashboard.
- "Synchronize with ShipperHQ" will import the data to the respective attributes.
⚠️ Please note that values assigned to current products are not automatically deleted. For instance, if you create and later delete a shipping group in ShipperHQ, it won't be removed from Magento unless it's unassigned from all products. Also, current support does not extend to renaming ShipperHQ attributes; these will appear as new values.
Refresh Caches
After updating values, you might need to refresh Magento 2 caches. To do this, go to System->Cache Management. It's recommended to update all caches here for optimal performance.
