Overview
UPS Ground Saver, previously known as UPS SurePost, is an affordable domestic ground service from UPS® in the US. ShipperHQ supports retrieving live UPS Ground Saver rates so you can offer this service to your customers. Remember, UPS Ground Saver is a contract-only service, meaning you need an existing contract with UPS to connect it to ShipperHQ.
UPS Ground Saver Replacing UPS SurePost
UPS has transitioned from UPS SurePost to UPS Ground Saver. ShipperHQ's system will soon reflect this branding change. For now, UPS SurePost will appear in ShipperHQ and at checkout, but the rates will reflect the updated UPS Ground Saver pricing. You can rename the service using the Rate Shopping & Custom Method Naming Advanced Feature if needed.
Other UPS Services
Alongside UPS Ground Saver, ShipperHQ supports a wide range of UPS services, including various domestic and international shipping options. Learn more about ShipperHQ's UPS services.
Important Update ⚠️
UPS has upgraded their APIs to a new security protocol, OAuth 2.0. If you receive a message stating "Update Required" or "Reauthentication Required" next to your UPS carrier in ShipperHQ, you need to reauthorize your connection. This reauthorization is essential to continue using negotiated UPS rates and services via ShipperHQ. The process is quick, and UPS will soon retire the old authentication services. If not updated, you won't be able to access negotiated rates. Contact us if you need help.
